Those traveling to Toronto will not be disappointed with all that the City has to offer. With its excellent shopping, museums, entertainment and hotels Toronto has something to offer all the family. It is easily accessible too: fly into one of its two international airports, take the train in on the extensive rail network that Ontario offers or even travel in by boat and dock in Toronto's beautiful harbor.

Once here, you'll find a lot to see and do. Toronto has come a long way from the backwards English trading post it once was and is now Canada's largest city and one of the most culturally and ethnically diverse cities in the world. It is home to a number of annual festivals including the Toronto International Film Festival, the Caribana Street Festival and Pride.

The cosmopolitan nature of the city makes it a great place to explore. The Distillery District is a pedestrian only village dedicated to the arts. With numerous cafes, restaurants and shops it is an excellent place to explore. Or why not enjoy one of the many ethnic neighborhoods that the city offers. Enjoy a spot of the Mediterranean in Little Italy or Portugal Village. Have something to eat in Little India or Chinatown. Those looking for excellent shopping facilities should head to Yonhge Street, the longest street in the world, or the Eaton Center, a massive mall with more than 300 shops. The Bloor and Yorkville areas of the City offer an exclusive and high end shopping experience with many designer boutiques.

The City has an excellent selection of art galleries and museums. The Art Gallery of Ontario is the largest art gallery in Canada and is home to more than 15,000 paintings. The Royal Ontario Museum is a major center for world culture and natural history and is home to the world's largest totem pole, which is over 100 years old. For something more offbeat, try the Bata Shoe Museum, which has some of Napoleon Bonaparte's socks on display. Or for a recreation of 19th century Ontario, head to Black Creek Pioneer Village, which has over 40 historic buildings with period furnishings and actors portraying the villagers.

Families will also enjoy Toronto Zoo, the largest in Canada and home to more than 5,000 animals. Those seeking thrills and excitement should head to Canada's Wonderland, one of North America's premier theme parks, with more than 200 attractions. The rides and attractions at Ontario Place also make it a great family destination and it is also home to an IMAX theater. For spectacular views of the city head to the CN Tower and its glass observation decks.

The cosmopolitan nature of the city means that it has an interesting and varied nightlife. Toronto has a vibrant food culture and is generally recognized as one of North America's top food cities. Cabbagetown, a designated Historic District, has an excellent choice of restaurants and bars or head to Yorkville for a spot of people watching. For pubs and bars head to the aptly named Clubland District. Or for a spot of culture head to one of the many theaters that the city offers, such as the Princess of Wales or the Elgin and Winter Gardens Theaters and enjoy a play, ballet or performance by one of the city's two symphony orchestras.

With so much on offer it is no surprise that the city has a superb collection of places to stay. From serviced apartments to five star luxury hotels Toronto has something to offer. After a day spent seeing the sights why not spend some time indulging yourself and unwind in the hotel pool or make use of the spa facilities. Or enjoy a drink at the bar or an exquisite meal in the hotel restaurant before heading out to sample the nightlife.

There is much on offer for business travelers too. As Canada's economic capital, the hotels Toronto offers are capable of meeting every need whether it be rooms with workspace, business center facilities or locations offering easy access to the financial district or one of the airports.

Whatever your reason for visiting, you will be guaranteed a warm welcome from a welcoming city when you come to Toronto.
